Australia adopts HK417 rifle

The Australian Defense Force has procured $1.6 million worth of HK417 rifles. Presumably they also discovered that in Afghan terrain you need a designated marksmen type rifle in at least 7.62x51mm NATO. [ Many thanks to JamesW for posting the link. ]
