Back in 2015, TFB ( http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2015/08/15/potd-a-mystery-fifty-cal/) showed a DIY .50BMG caliber rifle that was seized from criminal hands in Rio de Janeiro by the local Military Police BOPE – Batalhão de Operações Policiais Especiais (Special Police Operations Battalion) and which was falsely marked as an “ArmaLite  AR-50”.

Armalite’s 10th Anniversary Limited Edition AR-50A1 features a custom black/silver speckle finish and comes bundled with a a variety of accessories including three different scope rails.

I saw this over at Snowflakes in Hell. An armor piercing incendiary .50 BMG round is fired from an Armalite AR-50 rifle at 18 hard drives.
