Colt and Umarex have teamed up to produce the Colt M4 .22 Tactical Rimfire. The is probably the only real “Colt M4” you will ever be allowed to own!

I started this post a while ago and have been adding to it since. These are my predictions for SHOT Show 2009. Bear in mind that most manufactures have already showcased their 2009 product line which is why there are no predictions for most of the major manufactures.

I previously reported that on the new Mossberg 590 SPX. It appears Mossberg also have a “regular” 500 SPX.

The CZ P07 “Duty” is a new 9mm pistol by CZ that will be launched this year.

This year Mossberg is will be selling the autoloader 3 1/2″ magnum 935 Magnum and the 2 3/4″ 930 Turkey models with tactical style pistol grips and fixed stocks. Click to expand the images.

Winchester is offering a new type of bullet that Winchester describes as a “bullet within a bullet”. The bullet has two jackets, one within the other. When the the bullet mushrooms it creates a devastating shape with 12 “petals”. The outer petals from the outer jackets expand further out that the petals / segments would normally protrude. The photo illustrates this well.

S&W will be selling the S&W Model 310 NightGuard that chambers .40 S&W and its’ parent cartridge 10mm Auto. Because these are rimless cartridges moon clips will be needed to be used to hold the cartridges together.

S&W will be selling a sub compact 1911 pistol called the “Model SW1911 .45ACP Sub Compact – Pro Series”. It features an Oversized External Extractor, 3-Hole Curved Trigger with Overtravel Stop and a Full Length Guide Rod.

Another 9mm from S&W this year is the Model SW1911 9mm Pro Series. The stainless 9mm 1911 features:

Four different S&W Model 57 Classic revolvers is available in .41 Remington Magnum.

The S&W Model 357 Night Guard is now available chambered in .41 Magnum for $1153.
