Along with the 4th generation Glock pistol, Glock have launched two new 10mm Auto pistols: the Glock 20 SF and Glock 29 SF.

Taurus have added a snub nosed revolver to their line of Judge .410 Gauge shotshell / .45 Colt revolvers. The “Public Defender” 4510PD model is build on the smaller Taurus Model 85 frame.

LMT ( Lewis Machine & Tool) have developed an AR-10 version of their AR-15 CQB MRP rifle called the MTP MRP 308.

This year Limbsaver will be selling an improved premium slip on recoil pad.

In February S&W will launch two new M&P15 (AR-15) models. The M&P15 MOE (Magpul Original Equipment) features, as the name suggests, as many Magpul accessories as they could fit on the rifle.

Taurus has unveiled their new Taurus TCP pistol. This is another additional the increasingly wide range of .380 ACP sub-compact pistols. The TCP stands for “Taurus Compact Pistol”.

Sig are offering the Sig 556 rifle in a pistol configuration called the P556. It has proved very popular at SHOT Show and looks like a really fun gun!

ArmaLite has their new AR-10T chambering 7mm-08, a very popular hunting round. Interestingly they are also offering it in the the relatively obscure .260 Remington. The .260 is now 11 years olds and gaining popularity as a flat shooting and low recoil 6.5mm cartridge.

The 709 “Slim” is a new single action only sub-compact 9mm from Taurus.

The Vltor Fortis is a updated clone of the Bren Ten 10mm Auto pistol (Which itself was a CZ 75 clone). It was announced last year at SHOT. This year a final production model has been on display. It will be available in both 10mm AUTO and .45 ACP. It should be on sale later this year (2009).

Austrian gun designer Wolfram Kriegleder ,who designed the Walther P22, has designed a new pistol in response to what American shooters said they wanted in a target and shooting pistol.

Freedom Arms are producing reloading equipment for what is probably the first new cartridge of 2009.

H&R (A Remington company) have produced a new shotgun designed specifically for slugs. H&R Pardner Pump Slug features a proprietary rifling design called Ultragon which was designed to provide greater slug accuracy. From the press release:

The new H&K P30L is a long slide version of the P30 pistol. It is identical to the P30 with the exception of having a 4.44″ barrel instead of the P30 3.86″ barrel. The sigh radius is 0.57″ longer.

Winchester have given the Super X3 pump action (SXP) shotguns a makeover. The “Worlds fastest pump” now has a more high tech design.
