Flush Optics Plate For Beretta 92 RDO Series Pistols
The Beretta 90 series of pistols has continued to be updated with features that users have been looking for, including the most recent upgrade of coming cut for Red Dot Optics from the factory. While the factory optics cut and plate system is what consumers have been asking for, it left the optic a bit higher over the barrel than some were hoping for. Enter engineer, Dylan T. with his flush optics plate for the Beretta 92 RDO pistols. Dylan’s flush fitting optics plate brings the base of the optic to sit directly on top of the slide, rather than having the width of the plate between the slide and optic. Let’s take a look.
Expanded RDO Cut Options For Beretta 92 Series From Langdon Tactical
Langdon Tactical has just expanded their custom gun works Red Dot Optics cut options to include ALL of the Beretta 92 / M9 series slides. Previously, almost all of Beretta’s 92 and M9 series of pistols could accept the RDO cut slide purchased from Langdon Tactical, but only a handful of those various models could be sent in to receive the RDO cut service. Now, Langdon Tactical has begun to take orders to receive new and old 92 series slides, such as the 92FS, 92D, Brigadier, and the 92XI and 92X Performance models. It should be noted that this custom work can be done on models that already come factory cut as RDO models from Beretta.
Wheelgun Wednesday: Red Dot Compatible Holsters From Speed Beez
Thanks for joining us for another TFB Wheelgun Wednesday, where we cover all topics that revolve around revolvers. Somehow, we seemed to have missed the advent of red dot compatible holsters from Speed Beez, until I stumbled upon Resputin’s Reddit thread, from which he gave us permission to use his photo you see above. Attaching red dot optics to pistols and revolvers isn’t exactly new, but finding holsters for revolvers equipped as such will still yield few results. What’s more, is that Speed Beez even has an option to cover the large red dot optics typically seen on Smith & Wesson’s TRR8 and R8 revolvers, while other options are geared towards the standard and micro-sized red dots.

TFB REVIEW: Trijicon MRO Red Dot Sight From Brownells
To say that firearms optics technology has advanced in the last decade would be an understatement. Sure, it’s all relative – the original jump from iron sights to optical magnification must have seemed to the marksman of the day like peering into the future. But as current technology marches on, the miniaturization of electronics and the optical clarity of lenses grows at an amazing pace. Although, the Trijicon MRO isn’t a new addition to the market, it is rapidly gaining ground on competitors due to it’s solid performance and affordable price point.
