New for 2024, Trijicon has revamped their lineup of thermal weapon sights. The REAP-IR and IR-HUNTER thermals have improved image processing and onboard recording capability. As before, both versions are available with three sizes of objective lenses with the larger lenses having more base magnification.

Today on Friday Night Lights we take a look at the thermal workhorse from Trijicon. Specifically the IR-Patrol and briefly the REAP-IR. These thermals are one of the benchmarks in the thermal industry for weapon-mounted thermal systems. Trijicon have announced the introduction of a pair of new thermal imaging systems: REAP-IR & IR-HUNTER. The optics come with various levels of magnification and feature industry-leading 640×480 resolution, 12-micron thermal sensors with 60 Hz frame rates. The REAP and HUNTER also feature USB-C connectors which allow them to be externally powered for extended periods while in the field.
