NIOA Announces Picatinny Arsenal Tenancy
Earlier this year NIOA acquired Barrett Firearms and now they are looking to expand their reach in the US by taking up a tenancy at the US Army’s Picatinny Arsenal which is home to the Army’s Joint Centre of Excellence for ammunition and weapons.

Australian Defense company NIOA has acquired Barrett Firearms. Founded in 1982 By Ronnie Barrett the company quickly became synonymous with their .50 caliber anti-materiel rifles and later thier precision rifles including the MK22 Advanced Sniper Rifle. Barrett rifles have been used by militaries, police and civilian shooters all around the world.
Australian Defence Force Tests the EC-Paint Weapon Camouflage
Australian Defence Magazine reports that the Australian Defence Force has been testing the EC-Paint day and night weapon camouflage paint made by a Norwegian company called NFM Group. The EC-Paint is formulated to provide a durable matte camouflage pattern that can be applied in field conditions allowing to adapt the color and camouflage of the weapon to any particular environment.
