Those looking for a solid hunting flashlight can now turn to Smith & Wesson, who with their OEM PowerTech, Inc. has released a green beam flashlight, conveniently called the “Galaxy Green Beam”.Designed for those stalking at night, green beam flashlights are solid for illumination at frequencies that often are not seen by wildlife due to their color (or lack thereof) receptors.

Hogue, Inc., known primarily for their overmolded grips, stocks, and forearms, has launched a new line of holsters based off their new Automatic Retention System(tm); “…an ingenious trigger guard-lock design that’s surprisingly hard to defeat when the handgun is holstered. A discretely-located thumb release on the inside of the holster makes for an intuitive, fast draw while re-holstering is quick and consistent thanks to a spacious pistol channel.” In short, the thumb pushes in on a tab that releases the hold on the handgun.

After a soft debut at SHOTShow 2015, Witt Machine has produced the “.30 Cal Muzzle Rise Eliminator” which purports do to exactly what it is called, eliminate muzzle rise from .30 caliber weapons. The brakes feature a nifty profile with  the usual ported chambers and an optimally opened “swiss cheese” top where the ports follow the gas’ path within the chambers.

Having shot the TrAAcker wad for 12 guage that Winchester came out with just over a month ago at SHOT, I can say that them offering it in 20 gauge will be nice for sportsman looking to maximize their hits with their shotgun.  Not being a huge wing or clay shooter myself I was amazed at how quickly I was able to correct my shooting to make hits on targets every time.  The weighted tracking wad flew straight, and stayed with the shot.
