Grief Ransomware Holds NRA Files Hostage After Alleged Cyberattack
A recent ransomware attack from a ransomware group known as “Grief” (with alleged ties to well known Russian cybercrime group Evil Corp), has stated that they hold 13 key files belonging to theNational Rifle Association that they intend to hold hostage or leak unless the NRA pays the ransom which is of an undisclosed value. At the time of writing, the NRA has declined to make any definitive statements confirming whether or not Grief had actually breached NRA cybersecurity and if the nonprofit 2nd amendment organization plans on paying any ransom.
Team SIG Member Lena Miculek Wins Big at 2018 SIG SAUER USPSA Multi-Gun Nationals
SIG SAUER, Inc. congratulates Team SIG member Lena Miculek on placing first in the ladies category of the Open Division at the 2018 SIG SAUER USPSA Multi-Gun Nationals held April 18th through April 22nd. Miculek competed for three days at The Pro Gun Club in Boulder City, Nevada through fourteen scored stages testing her shooting, agility, and decision-making skills. She completed each stage in an average time of 35.5 seconds and scored a perfect 100. Each stage presents varying challenges with hard-cover targets, no-shoots, steel falling targets, short, medium, and long-range targets at various positions. For the 2018 SIG SAUER USPSA Multi-Gun Nationals, Miculek used a SIG SAUER P320 X5 with a ROMEO1 optic, and a M400 Predator Rifle with a TANGO6 optic.
NRA Shooting Illustrated Magazine Honors Four Savage MSRs with "2018 Rifle of the Year" Golden Bullseye Award
The National Rifle Association’s (NRA) Shooting Illustrated magazine has selected four members of Savage’s new MSR line as Golden Bullseye Award recipients for “2018 Rifle of the Year.” The MSR 15 Patrol, MSR 15 Recon, MSR 10 Hunter and MSR 10 Long Range were collectively tapped for the honor, which Savage representatives will accept on Friday, May 4, during the 2018 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Dallas, Texas.

BREAKING: USCCA Has Been Disinvited To NRA Annual Meeting
In a press release issued yesterday, it was revealed that the USCCA has been disinvited to NRA Annual Meeting. The press release comes less than two weeks from the show and cited no reason other than s wild guess as to the NRA‘s motives. USCCA stated in the press release that their best guess is the move was a “strategic business maneuver” because the NRA recognizes the USCCA as a frontrunner in concealed carry related matters.

At the 2016 National Rifle Association Annual Meeting, there were more than just companies showing off their wares; there was an entire section for collectors, as well. One of the booths that caught my eye (you’ll see exactly why in a minute) was that of the Virginia Gun Collectors Association, which was showing off the largest Radom Vis pistol collection in the United States:

Ruger 22/45 Lite: NRA Edition
Sturm, Ruger & Co. teamed up with firearms distributor Davidson’s to sell a limited edition 22/45 Lite to benefit the National Rifle Association (NRA). These NRA pistols carry a suggested retail price of $537. According to Ruger, a $20 donation is made to the NRA with each gun sold.
