Tyler Bradsher, a native of Foley, Mo., and a rifleman assigned to Charlie Company, Battalion Landing Team, 1/1, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), setting security with an M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle.
POTD: Sky Soldiers in V-22 Ospreys
In today’s Photo Of The Day, we’re looking at transportation into the Hohenfels Training Area, Germany for the Exercise Saber Junction 2020, by means of V-22 Ospreys flown by the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit. They also used CH-47 Chinooks and UH-60 Black Hawks flown by 12th Combat Aviation Brigade.
POTD: SWESOCOM – Swedish Special Forces with U.S. Air Force Special Tactics Operators
SWESOCOM in our Photo Of The Day, where details of the firearms are kind of secluded. Throwback to November 2020 when U.S. Special Operations Forces were drilling with military responder units in Sweden to rehearse how they would jointly confront an enemy force in the Baltics. Above you can see Swedish Special Forces with U.S. Air Force Special Tactics Operators, assigned to the 352d Special Operations Wing, study map overlays on a Swedish C-130H, for an MRZR vehicle dismount training.

Here we have Australian Army soldiers together with U.S. Marines with the Marine Rotational Force – Darwin as they dismount an MV-22B Osprey during Exercise Koolendong at Bradshaw Field Training Area, NT, Australia. This happened at the end of August of this year.
