[SHOT 2018] ATI's New AR-15 9mm Conversion Kit and MP-40 Folding Stock Kit

New from American Tactical for 2018 is a conversion adapter that allows you to use 9mm Glock mags with your AR-15 lower. It’s made out of 6061-T6 Aluminum and locks into place via the AR-15 mag catch. The Glock mags are released by hitting a button on the bottom of the adapter.

If you are a fan of the World War II German MP40 submachine gun and want to have one of your very own, you are pretty much out of luck unless you are willing to shell out tens of thousands of dollars for a transferable original. However, it has been possible to buy “trainer” replicas in .22 long rifle, made by German Sport Guns (GSG), which for many was as close as they could come to owning an original “Schmeisser” machine pistol.

GSG MP-40 in 9mm?

Stopping into the German Sport Guns (GSG) booth found me eye goggling a very nice piece of WWII history, the MP-40. This was not the version currently offered by GSG in .22LR, and imported to the United States by American Tactical Imports; no, this one was chambered in the original 9x19mm. As a huge WWII history buff, I was immediately interested in the potential of having a semi-auto version of a weapon that infamously made history.

ATI/GSG MP-40: More Info and Shipping Estimate

American Tactical Imports (ATI) showed the .22 LR GSG MP-40 at the 2011 SHOT Show, but has yet to deliver any to the public.  But, it looks like that will change in the coming months.
