New MOLOT Firearms Introduced at ARMY 2019 Exhibition
This year, Molot Oruzhie was exhibiting first time in the largest arms exhibition in Russia called International Miltary-Technical Forum ARMY. At ARMY-2019 they showed a variety of products designed both for military and civilian markets. In this article, we’ll take a look at two of the most interesting new Molot firearms – the VPO-183 bolt action rifle and the VPO-185 pistol caliber carbine.
New Russian Cartridge – .366 Magnum
Russian companies Techcrim and Molot Oruzhie have released another new cartridge called .366 Magnum. This new round belongs to the family of cartridges that are designed to be certified as smoothbore slug ammunition. Other cartridges in this line include the .366 TKM, .345 TK and the 9.6x53mm Lancaster.
Russian Prototype Agishevsky 9mm PCC
In the forum of Russian MOLOT Oruzhie‘s website, there is a thread where photos of a prototype 9mm pistol caliber carbine are shared. They call it Agishevskiy pistol-carbine. Belarusian BSVT Starts Assembling VEPR Rifles and Shotguns
According to TASS Russian News Agency, the Belarusian State-owned Foreign Trade Unitary Enterprise “BELSPETSVNESHTECHNIKA” (BSVT) has started assembling Vepr rifles and shotguns from Russian-made Molot parts. TASS was informed about this cooperation by a “Belarusian defense industry contact” during the MILEX 2019 arms exhibition recently held in Minsk, Belarus.
POTD: New Belt-Fed 7.62×39 LMG from Molot
Molot Arms, best known as the manufacturer of VEPR shotguns recently shared a photo of a new belt-fed machine gun on their social media. According to Molot’s Facebook post, the weapon can feed from belts and magazines and is chambered in 7.62x39mm.
Molot Teases the Prototype of Mokrushin SMG
Russian MOLOT Oruzhie arms factory shared on the forum of their website several images of a submachine gun that is currently in development. This firearm is called Mokrushin SMG. Besides the caliber (9x19mm), the name of the weapon and the three images that you can see in this article, no other information has been disclosed yet. However, we can still make some assumptions based on the appearance of this weapon system.
Production Ready MOLOT Pistol That Was Never Produced
Russian Kalashnikov Gun Magazine has published several images of a semi-auto pistol that was designed by MOLOT Oruzhie, but because of the changes of Russian legislation was never manufactured. The pistol had a model designation VPO-514.

MOLOT Introduces Four New Rifles Chambered in 9.6x53mm Lancaster [Arms & Hunting 2017]
Molot has introduced four new rifles during the Arms & Hunting 2017 exhibition. All the new rifles are chambered in recently introduced 9.6x53mm Lancaster caliber and have oval bore rifling. According to Molot officials, these rifles are neither concept guns nor ones being developed but finished models which are already in production and will become available in the Russian market by the end of the year.

Prototype Russian Dual-Feed LMG being Developed in MOLOT
Mikhail Degtyaryov of Kalashnikov Gun Magazine published a couple of images of an ongoing Molot project of making a dual-feed (fed both from a magazine and belt) light machine gun. You can immediately tell that the firearm shown in the images is in the prototyping stage. It is unfinished and has a lot of welding and machining tool marks all over it.
