TFB Review: Mischief Machine Omega P365 Frame
In the world of small carry guns, there are a few firearms that really are starting to shine. The Glock 43x, the Springfield Hellcat and the P365 series from SIG Sauer. The SIGs are a bit special since you can easily swap frame sizes and create a truly modular system. There are a few metal frames available on the market, but most of them have textures and lightening cuts all over them. I recently saw a new offering from Mischief Machine LLC – their Omega Series frame. I decided to pick one up and give it a try. Lets take a closer look at the Mischief Machine Omega P365 frame.
TFB B-Side Podcast: Joe Potter with Mischief Machine
Many of you will know Mischief Machine from either TFB or TFBTV. We’ve posted about Mischief Machine’s products before and Mischief Machine even sent in a couple samples of their 3D printed EDC pocket flashlight mounts to TFBTV mailroom for James to try out. What many of you probably don’t know though is that Mischief Machine is really just one man with a dream, a lot of drive, and probably zero sleep. Joe Potter is the sole owner and operator of Mischief Machine and has grown his company substantially since 2017 when he started making 3D printed parts for scopes and optics. Joe is an impressive example of an American entrepreneur making great products purely out of the desire to have something one wants for themselves, and then turning that idea into something other people can buy. Today on the TFB B-Side podcast I talk with Joe about his recently released Alpha Series P365 grip module as well as a couple of his other projects he’s done and a teaser of an upcoming product that will debut just before SHOT Show 2022.
Mischief Machine P365XL Billet Grip Module Alpha Series Available Now
A few months back we covered the introduction of a new billet aluminum grip module for the SIG Sauer P365 pistol from Mischief Machine. The module has gone through several refinements over the last couple of months and the guys over at Mischief Machine are finally ready to start taking orders as they build up their inventory for a full release. As part of the refinement process, the Alpha Series P365XL grip module is now available in versions with or without a grip safety and also features the Mischief Machine logo CNC engraved onto the side of the grip module.
Mischief Machine Unveils 7075-T6 Billet P365 Grip Module
I recently had the pleasure of traveling just a short distance up the road to Mechanicsburg, PA to meet up with the owner of a small machine shop. Joe, owner, and operator of Mischief Machine has been hard at work developing some cool new products out of his small shop. Those of you who watch TFBTV may recall the name of the business from TFBTV Mailroom #40 in which Joe sent several of his billet aluminum and 3D printed handstops and EDC flashlight mounting options. Joe has now finally revealed that he has been working on a 7075-T6 billet P365 grip module for the SIG Sauer P365 pistol.
Mischief Machine Flashlight Mounts for your EDC Flashlight
Most of you probably own a pocket EDC flashlight for various tasks. If you’re not carrying a small flashlight around that isn’t attached to your phone, you probably should. I find them to be quite useful and on par with carrying a pocket knife every day. Mischief Machine is a PA-based company that specializes in some pretty unique CNC machined accessories. One item I just learned about is their Billet Aluminum Flashlight mounts. These mounts convert your EDC flashlight into a rail-mounted one so you don’t need to spend hundreds on a dedicated weapon-mounted light.
