Photo Of The Day: Once upon a time we used to run a mini-series called Minigun Monday. Well, this one isn’t a Minigun and never made it to our series, but it’s easy to get fooled. Upon closer look, it is a Browning M2 .50 BMG Heavy Machine Gun with a blank firing adapter mounted.

Norwegian Special Operation Commandos (NORSOC) don’t always ride in helicopters, but when they do they ride the Bell 412 SP with a Minigun on the side. That’s the topic for our Photo Of The Day. Their standard firearms are Colt Canada C8SFW, C8CQB or the Heckler & Koch HK416.

We’re back in the river, the Cape Fear River, in the seventh edition of the Photo Of The Day: Minigun Monday. The location is Elizabethtown, NC (USA) and we’re looking (above) at Nestor Gonzalez, attending the Riverine Crewman Course (RCC), as he mans the M134 Minigun aboard a Riverine Patrol Boat.
