The goal with TFB’s Photo Of The Day is to give your eyes something worth watching, and your brain something to think about every day. Over the years we have shown firearms and soldiers from North to South, East to West in almost any imaginable situation and climate. Who knows what we’ll show tomorrow? Today we’re going to take a look at the new Microtech Combat Troodon HS Rescue (High Speed) knife.

When the new automatic knives from Microtech called Scarab II and Mini Troodon were released last year we published an article to keep you updated. This is still The Firearm Blog, but from time to time we take the liberty to widen the subject and write about everyday carry knives and other objects that may be of interest for gun owners.

After what felt like months of fog, clouds, darkness and other sorts of misery the clouds scattered one morning and the sunrise put some backlight on some clouds. The new Schmidt & Bender 3-21×50 Exos which TFB has for review was pointing in the right direction, and a few pictures were taken to enhance this Photo Of The Day.

Some consider the B&T APC9 to be the “Swiss watch” of pistol caliber carbines. As you may remember, the U.S. Army selected the B&T APC9 K as their New Sub Compact Weapon last year, with an initial order of 350 firearms. B&T USA have now made a limited run to commemorate the contract, which includes complete serialized cases. 333 of these are available exclusively to US-based collectors.

On 19th September  Microtech Knives held a Grand Opening in their new facility in North Carolina. The opening was also broadcasted live on the Internet, and customers had the possibility to purchase products directly from the show. That was until everything crashed due to popular demand, and judging by the comments on social media it left quite a few disappointed.

Ever since the Microtech Defense Suppressors were approved by the ATF in 2017 we at TFB have kept you updated with news. They were caught in the wild at Big Daddy Unlimited as well as on other occasions.

If the Ultimate gun safe ever existed this is probably it. Florida-based  Big Daddy Unlimited is now offering the The Continental Safe – styled after the one seen in John Wick III.

We have previously covered the Infitech Ruger PC Carbine Aimpoint Micro Mount and other accessories, but it was now time to put them on an actual rifle.

The fact that there is a new John Wick movie around can’t have escaped anyone. Named “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” it’s filled with firearms and other sharp objects. The Blade Show in Atlanta was just the other week as well, where a lot of sharp objects were displayed.
