Matador Arms recently announced an update to their pistol caliber carbine lineup, featuring significant enhancements and a focus on Glock magazine compatibility. At SHOT Show 2024, they launched the MAT-9GLR, a Glock Lower Receiver designed to integrate with their earlier designs as well as the shorter MAT-9K upper receiver.

James Reeves spotted this interesting 9mm bufferless PCC upper at TriggerCon 2023 and just had to stop by to see what it was. The Matador Arms 9mm PCC upper is a bufferless design that’s compatible with a wide variety of 9mm lowers, is completely made in the USA and retails for under $600. The MAT-9 bufferless upper combines the space savings of the bufferless design with an affordable price point to give you a flexible blue-collar pistol caliber carbine option.

Matador Arms brought to SHOT Show 2023 their new MAT-9 blowback 9mm upper receiver assembly which is the improved version of the earlier released  Montgo-9. Compared to the Montgo-9, MAT-9 has a longer barrel (7.825” vs 5.5″) and forearm yet at an overall weight of 3 lbs, it’s lighter than the Montgo-9 by about 3 oz.

Matador Arms has released a new AR lower receiver compatible 9mm monolithic upper receiver assembly called Montgo-9. One of the key features of Montgo-9 is that the recoil spring mechanism is contained inside the receiver itself and it does not require an AR buffer tube, buffer or recoil spring to operate. This feature will allow you to have a folding stock that does not render the gun inoperable when folded or don’t have a stock at all. Let’s take a closer look.

Matador Arms has recently moved from Canada to the USA. Shortly after the relocation, the company announced a new US-made product – the AR9 80% 9mm lower receiver. Let’s take a closer look and see what features this 80% pistol caliber carbine lower receiver packs.

Matador Arms Mag-X line of adapters is designed to allow converting AR-15 lower receivers to take pistol magazines for pistol caliber carbine builds. Back in April of 2019, when Matador Arms announced the Mag-X adapter, it was available only for SIG Sauer P320 magazines. Later on, at the end of 2019, the company added CZ-75 and Smith & Wesson M&P magazine compatible versions of the adapter. And today they have announced a new version of the Mag-X adapter that gives an affirmative answer to the most important question in the industry – “Does it take Glock mags?“.

Matador Arms has released a quite an interesting new muzzle brake called Regulator. At first glance, this new muzzle device may look like a generic three-port brake, however, if you take a closer look, you’ll see that it almost looks like there are two brakes installed into each other. Let’s see what advantages such design provides.

Matador Arms have begun shipping a SIG P320 magazine adaptor for AR-15s. The Mag-X, P320 allows standard SIG Sauer P320 magazines to be used alongside a 9x19mm adapted bolt and a 9mm barrel. No modifications to the lower receiver or the magazines themselves are needed. It has a steel ejector and paddle magazine release at the base of the adaptor, in front of the magazine. There is, however, no last round hold open feature. Matador Arms claim it is the “ultimate PCC-Pistol combination for Sig-P320 owners!”

Matador Arms has added to their website a new product – the Mag-X (P320). This is an AR-15 magazine adapter that makes it possible to use SIG Sauer P-320 magazines in your AR-pattern PCC. Obviously, this conversion will be especially useful for those of you who prefer the US military’s new sidearm and already have a bunch of magazines for the gun.

Let me tell you right away that this product is not designed for AR-15 rifles and it is not anything like a Law Tactical folder. This is a folding stock adapter designed for the firearms that use AR-15 buffer tubes but don’t have a buffer and recoil spring mechanism inside it. This new accessory which is just released by Matador Arms is called Sidewinder.

Matador Arms has introduced a new muzzle device called Flarestack. This device combines the features of a muzzle brake, muzzle rise compensator and flash hider.
