MagPod – a patented baseplate for the Gen2 Magpul PMAG magazines, that functions both as a monopod and a magazine (ammunition) identifier and reloading aid. 

Anastasia Chernenko posted this photo of herself shooting her AK. Take a closer look at her magazine. It looks like she taped an AK handguard on the leading edge of the magazine to act like a mag pod. While not perfectly secure it should do just nicely for competition.

Let’s go a bit more into detail with one of the “Country Rifles” made by Rainier Arms for the IWA 2016 exhibition in Germany.

Aftermarket magazine floor plate is nothing new. If fact, Magpul was originally started as a maker of aftermarket replacement floor plate for the US GI aluminum magazine. Magpul had eventually came out with their own polymer magazine: the very popular PMag. The MagPod is an aftermarket floor plate replacement for the Magpul PMag.

Battlecomp posted this up on Instagram today. There will be a charity auction to raffle the rifle away by Battlecomp. It has a very sweet looking cerakote paint job.
