Lone Wolf Glock Generation 4 SS Guide Rod Complete Assembly
I am a Glock fan. Have been ever since I had my first one. That said, there is a time and place for polymer. And certain components that take a lot of impact abuse are probably not the first place I would eschew the use of steel. The plastic guide rod is one component that can chip or break which can then cause a number of ejection of feed problems.
Lone Wolf 9mm AR Pistol Lowers
Lone Wolf advises they now have pistol variants of the G9 carbine lowers available. These pistol lowers can be had with a short buffer tube, or with a longer tube designed for use with the SIG SB15 arm brace. One of the things that set these lowers apart from other pistol lowers is that they use Glock magazines.
Lightning Review: Lone Wolf Dist. Prototype Glock Magazine Tool
My biggest complaint about Glocks (outside of the lack of ambi-anything) is disassembling the magazines for routine maintenance and cleaning. The tab system holding on the floor plates are the two single most aggravating pieces of plastic in the my history with firearms. Normally, I break out a set of large vice grips and use towels to ensure I do not damage the magazines.

Ammo Test uses a Glock 21 with Lonewolf 45-40S conversion barrel. He is shooting 40 super. It is a .450 winmag case trimmed down to 10mm length and necked down to 40 cal. Rather impressive velocities. Upwards of 1700 fps.
