It’s hard to set yourself apart these days when it comes to holsters – especially ones that are geared towards concealed carry applications. However, I recently took the opportunity to review one of Bianchi’s hybrid leather holsters that caught my eye, and today we’ll be taking a look at it. The Bianchi Shenandoah OWB/IWB holster is a fully convertible, dual-carry holster with the ability to easily switch between IWB and OWB carry positions with minimal parts change and also with a 50% leather construction but in the reverse of how many other companies accomplish this. This holster is more interesting than meets the eye and today I hope I can properly demonstrate its features and advantages to you.

Over the last few years, there have been a few trends that emerged in the gun community. The older generations love to talk about their 1911s and leather holsters, while the young whippersnappers love plastic holsters and aftermarket attachments on their carry guns. Younger shooters like to give the older generations a hard time about certain carry items. If we are completely honest, there are a few that will always be a trend no matter how much time goes by. Let’s take a closer look at some timeless concealed carry trends.

Bianchi has recently  launched their new website and logo, and we’ve done a short series of reviews of some of their holsters. In this third and final review of that series, we’ll take a look at the Bianchi Agent Leather Shoulder Holster. Shoulder holsters aren’t seen that often in recent memory, with the exception of television and in movies, but I still read of accounts of people concealed carrying with one on occasion. Are shoulder holsters still viable? Let’s find out.

Savoy Leather makes some cool looking custom leather holsters with full color artwork on them. Their latest rides the popularity of the Marvel Universe character Deadpool. As you can see it is Deadpool riding a unicorn.

This is an interesting holster design. At first i was a little concerned about drawing the gun from deep concealment, but the design seems rather quick and intuitive.
