New to the binocular lineup from Vortex Optics is the Fury HD 5000 AB. These binoculars come equipped with a laser rangefinder, incorporating two very important features in the long-range shooting and hunting worlds: magnification and the ability to quickly determine your distance from the target.

Although Nikon has recently stepped out of the arena of riflescopes, they are still hard at work developing new additions to their other sporting optics. Nikon just announced the introduction of their Laser 50 and Laser 30 rangefinders. The new Laser 50 boasts an operational range of out to 2,000 yards with a 0.3 second read back time on measurements with the Laser 30 being a slightly less capable version measuring out to 1,600 yards.
