About a year ago, Taran Tactical Innovations were fighting the Wildfires in California. After several product releases it’s safe to say that TTI are back in action. In fact, they have grown and are relocating to a larger facility close to the current one.

If the Ultimate gun safe ever existed this is probably it. Florida-based  Big Daddy Unlimited is now offering the The Continental Safe – styled after the one seen in John Wick III.

The fact that there is a new John Wick movie around can’t have escaped anyone. Named “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” it’s filled with firearms and other sharp objects. The Blade Show in Atlanta was just the other week as well, where a lot of sharp objects were displayed.

The firearm community’s infatuation with John Wick has hit a deafening pitch since the release of the 3rd movie. Very few movie-goers realize though that the first firearm John Wick reaches for is a Bond Arms Wicked 9mm derringer! Without giving away spoilers for those who still may have not seen the movie, before John Wick ever touches a Glock or similar tricked-out pistol he relies on a 2-shot 9mm derringer from Bond Arms.

Gun nerds seem to have a serious crush on John Wick. What is it about this series of movies that makes it so interesting for gun people?

The SIG MPX is a favorite of Taran’s, so it only makes sense that Taran, as the trainer for the John Wick actors like Keanu Reeves and Halle Berry, worked with the MPX for John Wick 3. Also, Halle Berry’s SIG P365 is discussed.

We all know that STI International has some outrageous pistols (we mean that as a compliment, by the way) because not only are their firearms spooky accurate, but they have futuristic looks that could kill. All of this was dialed up a notch at SHOT Show 2019 when they introduced 3 new models including the overwhelming crowd favorite “John Wick” gun. STI had on hand the exact pistol used in filming the John Wick: Chapter 3 movie coming out this May. As a result, it drew a lot of buzz to their booth, but first let’s check out the other 2 new models introduced.

I have yet to see the newest John Wick release, but this NERF gun parody had me laughing for a long time. YouTube channel Corridor  Digital released three minutes of awesomeness a few weeks back, substituting NERF guns for the real deal, but leaving the action and effects in place. This video is well worth your time.

Keanu Reeves trained with Aaron Cohen of Cherries Apparel. Aaron Cohen is a former member of Israel’s “counter-terrorist ” special operations unit, Duvdevan. He is based in Los Angeles and has been training Keanu on deep concealment pistol draws and AR-15 manipulation. You can see some of the IDF training in Aaron’s teachings. The “straddle a fat horse” stance is very apparent.

The new poster for John Wick 2 was released and it appears that one of the most humble actors in Hollywood has ditched his fancy Heckler Koch P30L pistols in favor of a custom job from Taran Tactical. The poster depicts John Wick while he is fitted for a new suit presumably, but he is holding what appears to be a Glock 34 with a Taran Tactical Combat Master package applied to it. This would be in line with what we have seen Keanu training with recently.
