POTD: X Light Zero -Low Light Stance By Instructor Zero
Instructor Zero posted up this photo of a new low light stance that he has developed. I dabble in flashlight/firearm manipulation and question the validity of this new stance. I tried to keep an open mind and asked him what problem does this stance solve where other stances failed. He did not reply but posted a 35 minute video about this stance.
GT Zero Glock Tool by Instructor Zero
Instructor Zero has designed a Glock tool in collaboration with an Italian company called “ Extrema Ratio“. The tool is called GT Zero and it is rather a firearm multi-tool than only a Glock tool. Extrema Ratio is an older knife company in Italy. They make high quality blades. Judging from the quality of the knives they make this tool should be a really well made long lasting tool.
Zero Training African Park Rangers, array of small arms
Due to increasing poaching efforts over the years, an number of national and private parks in Africa have become increasingly vigilant in their efforts to combat poachers. As poacher tactics have become more sophisticated, so have many of the park Rangers guarding the animals that live in these parks. Unfortunately this has lead to some deaths on the Good Guy side of things.
Yeager Versus Zero
Thankfully, the shooting industry will never have as much drama and nonsense floating around as Hollywood does. Regardless, a recent drama that has ensued is one where James Yeager pretty much called out Instructor Zero for not being professional enough, Zero responded in kind on Youtube with his own video, and then Yeager responded with an apology. The two should be at SHOT this year, so that will be interesting to see if anything ensues out of it.
Gun vs. Knife – Two Professionals Break it Down
I am very much a fan of Instructor Zero (of Funker Tactical Fame) and Doug Marcaid a (also of Funker Tactical Fame). In their first meeting, Doug puts the “21-foot rule” to shame, taking the best of Zero (especially considering drawing from concealment.)
AK47 Pushup
Instructor Zero shows off some “Russian” pushups while utilizing his AK47. I am impressed the gun seems to hold up well as well as the magazine. What I would have liked to have seen is Instructor Zero shooting that AK47 after he did some pushups off of it. Just to further show how robust that AK is.
Benelli Flying Shotgun
Polenar Tactical tried to beat Instructor Zero’s time of 8 shots in 1.41 secs with his Benelli M4. Polenar is using a Benelli M3. However they soon learn there is something wrong with their Benelli M3. They can only go so fast before the gun fails.
