This is a review of the Schmidt & Bender 3-20×50 PM II Ultra Short riflescope, as a part of my mission to review all of the PM II models. I am very fond of the Schmidt & Bender 5-20×50 PM II Ultra Short, which is a perfect fit if you want to make your quality AR platform perform better. I own one, and I kind of wanted (at least) one more. Enter the Schmidt & Bender 3-20×50 PM II Ultra Short, which attracted me with its larger magnification range.

With two recent reviews spotting scopes are always of interest to the TFB staff and hopefully to our readers as well. Bushnell now has a new 8-40x 60mm Spotting Scope called LMSS2. With two reticle choices it’s aimed (pun intended) for those who train and compete in competitive shooting, where long-range target acquisition is needed.

Schmidt & Bender is a world leader in scopes and optics, and this year at SHOT Show they came through with another amazing scope in the PMII 3-27x56mm Digital BT rifle scope. Whenever I visit their booth I am always impressed, and this year was no different. It is intimidating and exciting at the same time to confront some of the best German optical technology on the planet.

The new PMII 3-27x56mm rifle scope is intimidating at first, but its range of magnification is like almost no other scope on the market. From a low 3x power to an impressive 27x power, and with additional digital information on the target, the needs of almost any shooter can be realized. There is another PMII option with 5-25x56mm range as well.
