#Hornet

Boyds Gunstocks is a company that is well known for the sheer amount of options that they have in terms of customization when it comes to their high-quality laminate gunstocks. Their previous list of laminate color options has been slowly growing over the years and today they’ve just announced the addition of their new “Hornet” color variation featuring a grey/yellow pattern.

AMTAC Suppressors, known for their over-the-barrel designs, has announced the release of their latest suppressor, the Hornet. The Hornet is specifically designed for pistol caliber carbines in the 9mm and .357 SIG variety, coming standard with 1/2 x 36 TPI threading. An adapter is available for 13.5 x 1 LH threads for the Sig MPX.

When I first read about Hornady’s .17 Hornet, a necked down .22 Hornet, I was skeptical. I just assumed it was the classic ammunition marketeers tactic of taking an old cartridge and necking it up or down and then telling the world it was the best cartridge ever designed.
