Crimson Trace has expanded their Laserguard range of integrated pistol laser sights to include several Heckler & Koch Models. In addition to Laserguards for a number of other popular pistol brands, Crimson Trace now offer sights for the popular VP series.

Last year we saw pictures and some video about the new HK433 from Heckler & Koch. Here at SHOT Show 2018, H&K brought it out and we got to take a closer look at it.

Thanks to my friend and the Royal Malaysian Navy for letting me use these photos. My friend was invited onto the Malaysian Navy base and got a chance to not only photograph this rare gun but also shoot it.

Remember that iconic photo of Margaret Thatcher and the SAS just after they successfully rescued the hostages in the Iranian embassy back in the 80s?

Someone somewhere posted these old price lists from Heckler & Koch. They are dated from 1985, 1991 and 1992 and includes some of the HK firearms on sale back then.

Some absolutely great new photos of part of Heckler & Koch’s product range have emerged. Taken by German photographer Oliver Louven, a Bundeswehr veteran, the photos feature a plethora of Heckler & Koch’s current range of small arms.

At Milipol in France Heckler & Koch exhibited an example of the HK416 F and what it looks like in its different configurations, including the kit that each soldier get with their weapon.

Hot on the heels of news that Berlin’s 17,000 strong police force will r eplace its aging SIG P6s (P225) with Heckler & Koch’s SFP9, better known as the VP9 in the US, it has been announced that Baden-Württemberg will also be buying a new batch of sidearms from Heckler & Koch.

The USMC has begun fielding an unspecified number of M38 Designated Marksman Rifles. Converting existing M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle’s to the designated marksman role by adding a Leupold TS-30A2 Mark 4 MR/T 2.5-8x36mm variable power scope, replacing the standard ACOG. The Leupold has previously been used with the Mk 12 Special Purpose Rifle.

The Police in Berlin, Germany, chose the Heckler & Koch SFP9 TR as their new service pistol.

The Cold War is famous as the squaring off of two superpowers: The United States, and the Soviet Union, and their duel-by-proxy in Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas. The standard rifles of each side, as well, became proxies: On the Soviet side, the famous AK-47 (more properly AK and AKM), and on the US side the M14, FAL, and later the M16. As early as the late 1950s, however, the AK’s success led to it being copied by NATO member nations, and perhaps the very first of these was the Madsen LAR.

Everyone who ever said Heckler & Koch don’t listen now have their chance. Now’s the time to speak up, or forever be silent.

The US Army’s embattled CSASS program has moved forward slightly with a sources sought notice posted to the Fed Biz Opps website, seeking manufacturers who can make many of the accessories that equip the M110A1 rifle. The notice isn’t itself for a contract, but will help determine which manufacturers are able to provide a second source production capability for CSASS accessories.
