Heckler & Koch Is (finally) offering a “clone” of the United States Marine Corps M27 IAR. The new MR27 is based on the familiar MR556 but with added features from the USMC version. Let’s take a look.

I recently acquired a unique H&K accessory. It is a PSG1 trigger but more than that it has an interesting feature that other PSG1s do not. It has a small port on the right side of the trigger housing. It is a PSG1 Kill Cam trigger.

Today we have a sort of guest article from Nicholas C and his HK91 conversion kit to shoot .22LR. According to the HK fans, this was another form of training for the German military. The alternative was blue training plastic ammo but that is for another time and article. Let’s dive into this .22LR conversion kit for the HK91.

H&K unveiled the new VP9 SK OR (Optics Ready) at today’s Industry Day at the Range. This newest addition to the VP9 lineup adds features to the carry model as well as some new refinements.  H&K was kind enough to walk me through the new pistol and let me try out their newest optics-ready variant.

Above we see a paratrooper assigned to the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division. He’s armed with the M110A1 CSASS, a contract awarded to Heckler and Koch. The setup is similar to the HK G28. It would be interesting to know if HK could deliver a solution in 6.5 Creedmoor if the U.S. Army wanted.

The MP5 is arguably the best 9mm SMG ever made. It has been cloned by many and yet fans and collectors always want that German roller delayed blowback perfection. While H&K has imported the SP5K and SP5, they have decided to bring to the US the HK SP5L, the modern-day HK94.

With new models featuring added capacity, the Heckler & Koch VP9 series pistols continue to grow on the success of the original platform.  As the design continues to grow, HK has made 17-round retrofit kits for those with legacy 15-round magazines.  As a current HK VP9 enthusiast with more than a few legacy 15-round magazines, I wanted to see just how well these kits worked in my VP9 Tactical.

After the success of the Mark23 special, Jake from 1911 Syndicate asked if I would help him cover the HK G36C.  Unknown to me, Jake had linked up with SK Arms who was bringing up not one, but two G36s.  Happy to help wherever I was needed, I packed up the truck and headed out to the desert once again.

Years back I purchased an HK Mark 23 out of pure nostalgia and love for the gun’s history.  Fast forward to today, and that Mark 23 is my favorite pistol to take to the range.  No, I’m not saying the pistol is practical by any means, but the gun is an absolute joy to shoot.

Over the last few years, one of the most interesting accessories developed for Heckler & Koch’s venerable roller-delayed weapons is the Spuhr Stock. Developed by Swedish firearms inventor and toolmaker Håkan Spuhr, the Spuhr Stock offers a more comfortable and adjustable stock in place of the factory butt used on Heckler & Koch’s classic 7.62x51mm battle rifle.

A long list of companies partnered with Offensive Marketing Group to try to make a new and different take on commercials. Judging by the feedback I’ve read it seems they succeeded.
