At SHOT Show 2018, Henry Repeating Arms put on auction their One-Millionth H001 Lever-Action ever produced as part of a much larger charity effort. At whatever price the gavel would eventually fall on, all of the proceeds would go to the Hunting Heritage Trust. The annual event of the SHOT Show Auction has drawn some very large bids before, but Henry was about to set a tremendous record this year.

Henry Repeating Arms Company has announced that they have made their one-millionth rimfire .22 model H001 lever action rifle. First such rifles started shipping in 1997 and now, 20 years later, the company has reached this huge milestone of one million .22LR/.22L/.22S  H001 rifles made.

What makes the Henry .22 lever rifle so alluring? Perhaps is the time that it brings to mind: the days of Cowboys and Indians, no seat belts, and slower life? Is it because the Henry is 100% American made, solid, and fantastic value? Or maybe it’s versatile, easy to handle, and practical?
