Behind the Heckler & Koch 40mm Grenade Machine Gun (GMG) we have British Army Pte. Warren from Poacher Troop waiting for a firing order. With a weight of almost 30 kilograms, the GMGs are usually mounted to a vehicle.

Photo Of The Day: Above a member of the 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment fires an NLAW anti-tank missile. The NLAW is a joint British and Swedish venture, providing a fire-and-forget anti-tank mis s ile system. It’s designed to be used by infantry soldiers and fires from the shoulder, after which it’s disposable. Apart from the United Kingdom, the NLAW is also used in Finland, Luxembourg and Sweden.

The German Bundeswehr (German Army) is going to equip more vehicles with the Heckler & Koch GMW (GranatMaschinenWaffe) in the common NATO caliber 40 x 53 mm.

Today we take a look at the Heckler & Koch Grenade Machine Gun (GMG – GranatMaschinenGewehr), as it plays a main part in a live fire exercise in Latvia with multiple nations.

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GDOTS) brought their .338 Norma Magnum caliber Lightweight Medium Machine Gun (LWMMG) to the 2017 Association of the United States Army (AUSA) annual meeting, giving TFB the chance at a closer look at this much-anticipated long range weapon.
