Bureau of Prisons Buys the Glock 19X

The Department of Justice has awarded a private vendor a contract to provide a California federal prison with new Glock 19X pistols. The contract was awarded on the 19th September by the federal Bureau of Prisons and is worth nearly $70,000.

Review: Archon Mfg Glock Compensator

Having compensators on pistols is not exactly new. Competitors have been porting pistols for a very long time. Go look at any open division pistol in USPSA or IPSC. However, since the Roland Special came out, we have seen an increasing trend in compensators for Glocks. This has led to companies like Archon Mfg to make compensators. As a fan of compensated pistols, I got the opportunity to check out their Glock compensator.

POTD: Mullet 3Gun

Short in the front, long in the back. All mullet. Photo belongs to Taylor M. He claims this is his new 3Gun setup. I am sure it was meant as a joke. Or maybe he is so good he just wants to give himself a handicap to make the game more challenging. With this setup, he could compete in tac limited division since he is running a pump action shotgun and a non-magnified optic on his AR. Depending on the stage design this might not be a terrible setup. If the targets are not far out then the short barrel won’t make a difference. Reloading the shotgun would be tedious with such small capacity but he could switch to the handgun and make up for the shotgun.

[SHOT 2018] Agency Arms Event With Kalashnikov USA & Nighthawk
