Despite what the keyboard warriors tell you, revolvers are not dead. Plenty of people still carry wheel guns for a variety of reasons, and for that, they need defensive ammunition. Just added to their list of options is an expansion of the Freedom Munitions X-Def line. Now available for your defensive needs, the lineup now includes .38 Special defensive loads.

Everyone at this point has felt the stress of ammunition scarcity and price hikes. Freedom Munitions is a fairly well-known ammunition manufacturing company that makes a combination of factory-new and remanufactured ammunition for both pistols and rifles. On the 23rd of June, Freedom Munitions announced that they were in the process of opening up a new 10,000 square-foot facility to increase the company’s capacity to fully manufacture cases and projectiles for a wide array of calibers including .223 and 30-06.

The Freedom Munitions and X-Treme Bullets companies have both been purchased by Dan Kash after a lengthy bankruptcy process.  TFB reported about the initial bankruptcy filing by Freedom Munition’s parent company, HMT, in June of 2018.  In the video below, Dan explains his history in the firearms and ammunition business, he also explains that some of the employees have stayed on to continue and that they want to earn back your business.

In yet another sign of changing times within the firearms industry, an anonymous source contacted TFB with the news that Howell Munitions & Technology laid off an unknown number of employees for a temporary two-week period. Apparently employees were also given the “option” to find employment elsewhere.

I just righted a wrong that should have been fixed long ago. I joined the American Suppressor Association, an organization sponsored by industry, dealers and individual membership, dedicated to promoting the benefits of firearm silencers/suppressor ownership nationwide. So why is ASA membership so important now, even when it appears that we are entering a more politically-friendly firearm climate here in the United States? I’ll explain.

Freedom Munitions announced that the company is now selling an exclusive Seekins Precision rifle: the G.I. AR-15.

Freedom Munitions, known for their affordable direct-to-consumer reloaded and new ammunition has released their new steel cased American Steel line of ammunition. Looks are a bit deceiving, as the case does look to be brass but it is only brass-plated.
