Nightforce has added some new MRAD reticle options. The Mil-XT reticle is now offered for their 4-14×50 SHV F1 scope, and the Tremor 5 is available in two models. Let’s zoom in on these new reticles to see what they offer. 

Delta Optical officially launched the Stryker HD 1-10×28 on October 17th. This optic was announced earlier this year but is now available. Let’s check out the features it brings to the market.

If you’ve ever wanted to see things with no magnification, then see things with more magnification, then an LPVO might be for you. The low power variable optic has exploded in popularity over the past few years. I’ve been behind a few of them myself, and I understand the appeal. Today, though, we’ll be talking about a specific model. Vortex makes optics that are priced from budget to second mortgage, which is one of the things I love about them. I tend to stick closer to the budget side of things, which is why I’ve decided to review an LPVO from their popular Strike Eagle line. This is the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8×24 FFP riflescope.

Arken Optics displayed their EP Lightweight (EPL) scopes at SHOT Show 2023. The EPL is a departure from their previous scopes and is more suited to hunting use.

EOTech unveiled their new EFLX Mini Reflex Sight and VUDU 1-10×28 FFP scope at SHOT 2022.  It’s clear that the company wants to both enhance and expand its current lineup to a broader market.  The staff at their booth were incredibly helpful and keen to show me all the new features for these two optics.

Review of the Meopta Meopro Optika6 1-6×24 RD First Focal Plane riflescope with the MRAD reticle. Sometimes reviews take months to prepare, sometimes they just appear by pure chance. This is a case of the latter. As I visited a dealer, he showed me the scope in question, and he had my attention straight away.

Zeiss has come out with a new line of long-range precision riflescopes. The Zeiss LRP S5 has some impressive features for use in long-range competition or hunting. They will come in 3-18×50 or 5-25×56. They will also feature either an MOA or MRAD reticle. Zeiss also claims a first-in-class elevation of 40.7MRAD or 140MOA! Let’s take a closer look at what they have.

Vortex Optics has announced the latest addition to their Razor HD LHT range, the 4.5-22×50 scope with a first focal plane reticle. The HD LHT lineup has been very popular with long range hunters and shooters. Adding an FFP option is sure to be a hit with the target audience.

SIGHTRON is an optics company founded in 1993 by a group of sportsmen dedicated to producing optics for sportsmen. The company has just announced the addition of a new line of riflescope with their SVIII 5-40×56 ED premium riflescope which boasts first-focal plane technology, a large lineup of reticles to choose from, and a new lens coating for increased light transmission through the large 56mm objective lens.

Bushnell has updated their Elite Tactical riflescope lineup with new versions of the XRS and DMR optics, the XRS3 and DMR3. Though Bushnell is known for being a budget-oriented brand, their Elite Tactical line includes full-featured scopes that compete with many of the big-name long-range optics.

Primary Arms shows no sign of slowing down. They have introduced several new optics this year, including the new budget-friendly SLx MD-20. Well, you can add another one to the list. Introducing the Primary Arms GLx 2.5-10×44 FFP Rifle Scope with an illuminated ACSS Griffin MIL reticle.

Hawke Optics has been hard at work the last couple of months steadily adding both new models of rifle scopes and red dot sights to their lineup as well as improving existing models. Along those lines, Hawke Optics just announced the addition of the new FFP MOA First Focal Plane models to the Sidewinder riflescope lineup.

One of the newest additions to the U.S. Optics lineup is the TS-20X.  Built for both long-range hunters and precision shooters alike, the TS-20X features a broad magnification range.  The 2.5-20 power scope aims to be just a cut above your average Low Power Variable Optic (LPVO).

Vortex has introduced two new first focal plane riflescopes called Diamondback Tactical FFP. They are available in 6-24×50 and 4-16×44 versions. These are arguably some of the most affordable FFP scopes available on the market that are made by a reputable manufacturer.
