Elite Tactical Systems has introduced the ETS Omega magazine, designed to seamlessly integrate hardened steel with their signature polymer design. The magazine is made for GLOCK pistols, and the development addresses the need for a reliable and durable magazine that doesn’t compromise on weight or convenience.

Elite Tactical Systems, or ETS for short, has been cranking out affordable magazines for the world’s most popular pistols and rifles.  Last year, TFB announced ETS’ 40 round magazines for Glock 9mm pistols, and they’ve recently just added 40 round magazines for three more 9mm pistols; the HK VP9, SIG P320, and S&W M&P.  I’ve never shot anything over 30 rounds at a time, but the 40 rounders could leave a bit more time for working on consistent trigger pulls without further interruptions of reloading, while sporting 33 percent more freedom. Elite Tactical Stystems’ specifications for each magazine can be found below, but for clarity, the specs for each new respective magazine were essentially the same, but each photo is designated for its corresponding model name:

Last year TFB reviewed the Elite Tactical Systems Glock 31 round transparent magazine. I don’t use Glock magazines that much any longer, so, unfortunately, I have nothing to add to the review as the magazine has become a safe queen.

ETS is best known for their translucent Glock magazines. Last year they came out with their CAM Loader magazine loader. I reviewed the CAM Loader last year. They have addressed one of the issues I had with the CAM Loader. The probem is that it only worked with 9mm and .40S&W double stack magazines. It could work with single stack mags but it does not work with other calibers. Well now they are making new CAM loaders in .45ACP and .380ACP.

MBX Extreme has introduced two Glock magazine extensions (Mini and Mega) designed for pistol caliber carbines. The main market for these products is the competition shooting community, but of course, they can be used for any other use, too.

Just when you think it can’t get any easier to load a magazine, ETS comes along and forges a new loader that purports to work across almost all double-stack semi-auto platforms. Its so good, I am convinced that Jim Hanson (owner of ETS) is perhaps the modern inventive dark load of the magazine:

After Yeti Works and B&T were showing off a fascinating way to load dual-stack magazines from ammunition boxes, ETS Group, makers of various fine translucent magazines has stepped up the ante a bit with their C.A.M. loading system.

Hot off the heels of their recent (and welcome) expansion into Glock 43 magazines, ETS otherwise known as Elite Tactical Systems has yet another trick up their sleeve – tritium-infused followers for their AR-15 magazines. Partnered with Advanced Combat Solutions, the new magazines feature the same radioactive inserts as popular night sights.

I dub thee “Happy Stick – Lite”

ETS Magazines has come along way. From their original release of translucent AR magazines, to being sued by MagPul (now resolved), to now quickly becoming a go-to source for 9mm Glock magazines, has expanded yet again with a full-size .40 Glock magazine suitable for G22 and G35 models.

Whoah! Did one say that I could have my Glock Magzine cake and eat the translucent body too? Indeed one did say that as ETS has put up their upcoming translucent Glock magazines for pre-order. The first magazines are available in standard 17 round capacity, competition ready 141mm lengths, and the “happy stick” 31 round configurations.

Recently on a teasing spree, ETS Group, known for their smoke magazines with a built-in coupler, has been teasing some new polymer Glock 9mm magazines. Designed to fit in standard Glocks, the magazines are shown to be Generation 4 compatible. Further, ETS is using standard Glock floor plates for easy accessory additions.

On October 16th, MagPul filed a claim against Elite Tactical Systems for patent infringement in the Colorado District Federal Court.. The claim alleges that Elite Tactical Systems has infringed on three MagPul patents, 8,069,601, 8,635,796, and 8,839,543.
