Blaser Custom Shop makes incredible custom versions of Blaser rifles. Besides custom engraving and use of high-grade wood, they also extensively use leather and other materials and technologies that you don’t normally see in custom hunting rifles. Let’s take a brief look at some of their creations.
London Best "Kumaon" Engraved Bespoke Rifle by John RIGBY & Co.
John Rigby & Co., one of the famous British manufacturers of high-end hunting rifles, has published on their social media pages a set of images of their latest engraved bespoke rifle. The rifle’s model is London Best “Kumaon”. It is based on Mauser action and is chambered in .350 Rigby Magnum.
Engraved Russian Firearms by Praktica of Zlatoust
Zlatust is a Russian town known for over 200-year heritage of hosting master engravers and decorators. In 1991 a company called Praktica was established in this town. A team of local master engravers has joined the newly founded company and since then they produce a number of precious metal plated and engraved items including firearms.

10 Most Expensive Firearms Sold in September 2017 Rock Island Premiere Firearms Auction
If you read The Firearm Blog on a regular basis, then you must remember that earlier we have published articles identical to this one. We’ve been looking at the ten most expensive firearms sold in main auctions of America’s largest firearm auction houses: James D. Julia and Rock Island Auction. This article is no different than those previous ones except it covers the top ten of highest priced guns of the latest September 2017 Rock Island premiere firearms auction. In our list, we have the prices realized, which include the hammer price plus 15% “buyer’s premium” which is the auction house’s fee. As always, the list goes in price ascendancy order with the least expensive being the number 10 and the most expensive being the number one. The firearm names also link to the corresponding RIA page, where you can read more detailed descriptions and see more and higher resolution images of the guns.
Hand Engraved And Gold Inlaid Factory Glocks
Here is something you don’t get to see every day. If you looked at the headline picture and thought these guns have to be machine engraved done by a local hack, think again. These examples are part of a small set of Glock factory, hand engraved pistols imported into the U.S. about eight years ago.
