TFB Review: SIG Sauer Tango6 5-30x56mm FFP MRAD
SIG Sauer has been in the game of making quality firearms for a very long time, but only recently have they dove into the arena of optics. They are acquiring a lot of contracts with law enforcement and military groups alike drawing a lot of buzz around their line of electro-optics. I have personally fondled and shot quite a few of their red dots, but none of their riflescopes so I wanted to know what all the fuss was about. So they were kind enough to let me play with their SIG Sauer Tango6 5-30x56mm FFP MRAD. This optic is the very top of their highest tier of scopes so I am grateful for them entrusting a MN boy with dragging one out to the range for repeated days of shooting. Let’s get into this TFB Review and see what the SIG Sauer Tango6 5-30x56mm FFP MRAD is all about!
Revic Optics (Formally) Introduces the PMR 428 Scope
While shown at the IWA 2017 show earlier this year, Revic Optics has formally annoucned the launch of its inaugural optic – the PMR 428. The new scope is a 4.5-28×56 optic that “delivers everything any serious long-range shooter could need.” That’s a tall claim, but Revic backs this up with some details on their electronic optic:
Sig Sauer Optics Expands with LevelPlex Equipped TANGO6
While most precision shooting is typically done static on the range, the tactical and competition world has been pushing the limits of what both rifle and shooter are capable of. Often the shot is not for the ideal seated position on a bench and requires the contortion of the shooter, rifle, or both to make a critical shot.
SIG SAUER Electro-Optic Chosen by Fort Collins PD
It’s a fantastic endorsement for any optics line, and it’s being given to SIG SAUER Electro-Optics: the Fort Collins, Colorado Police Department has chosen the company’s ROMEO4 for use on their duty weapons. SIG SAUER officially launched their Electro-Optics line at SHOT Show 2016 starting with a hands-on look at the optics at the start of that week during their invitation-only event during Industry Day at the Range. Having attended the event myself and also having had other opportunities with the optics I can attest to the fact that SIG SAUER made a solid leap into the optics world – something the gun world at large is well aware of at this point.
New SIG MCX In 300 Blackout
One of the more appealing guns at the SIG event is the new SIG MCX. The MCX comes in several variants including an SBR,Carbine and pistol. The carbine and SBR have the new skeletonized stock with buffer pad. The pistol uses the next generation pistol stock which folds to the left as does the skeleton stock.
