Last week we took a look at the B&T USA RBS rifle suppressor. This week we get a quick peek at the new Griffin Armament DUAL-LOK mounting system for rifle silencers. Should you consider investing in this 1.375 x 24 universal mount? Let’s take a look.

A recent poll of 956 silencer owners showed that 69% prefer to use a quick disconnect (QD) mounting system over direct thread mounts. Out of those who responded, 100% of them require a solid, dependable mechanism that is easy to use. Ok, I just made up all of those numbers, but theoretically, it could all be true. Griffin Armament has just announced a new mounting system and muzzle device lineup for rifle suppressors. The Griffin Armament DUAL-LOK mounts use a simple spring-loaded locking ring that has two locked positions separated by a neutral position for installation and removal. I’ve been using the system for about a week and it works as advertised. Give me another week to get both suppressors and a variety of muzzle devices out on the range for a full report.
