Magpul PMAG D-60 Spotted in use by 7th Special Forces Group Soldier

A recently published news video from Arizona-based 3TV/Arizona Family Channel concerning domestic violence in the U.S. Army included a photograph of a U.S. Soldier from the 7th Special Forces Group based out of Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. The soldier is posing with what appears to be an M4A1 SOPMOD Block II and also appears to be on deployment in Afghanistan due to the terrain, green valley, and patchwork of compounds in the background.

YouTuber Makes a Frankengun called "Commie Tommie"

AK receiver, SKS stock, HK 91 locking piece and firing pin, Zastava M76 bolt carrier and recoil spring, PPSh barrel shroud/muzzle brake, Suomi SMG drum magazines and bolt head … wouldn’t this rifle be Dr. Frankenstein’s creature if he was a gunsmith? The host of the YouTube channel called “ V8 Merc” made this firearm which for some of us represents an example of an ingenious gunsmithing talent and for others – a total heresy. X Products 50rnd X-5 MP5 Drum Magazine At HKPARTS

Over a year into the transfer process of my TPM Outfitters MP5SD, I have yet to start stock piling magazines. For one, H&K magazines aren’t the most affordable on the market and two there are a couple of polymer options in the works that I am hoping to review before committing to a ‘German vs U.S. made’ plan. Armatac 150 rd Drum Mag | SHOT 2017

Armatac makes a dual drum magazine. At first glance one might think of a Beta C-Mag. However, that is as far as the similarities lie. The Armatac drum holds 150 rounds of 5.56. It is compatible with .300 blackout. The length of the ammo is crucial. 2.260 is the maximum length the ammo can be otherwise it will cause the drum to malfunction. Due to the method that the drum feeds ammo, it can work with full-length blanks. According to the representative, the Armatac drum does not need any form of lubrication like other drums.

DRT Elite Series .223 Ammo Vs Windshield/Concrete/Gel/Meat/Wood

Andrew of GY6 Vids is at it again. After his video of the DRT .308win Terminal Shock Ammo, Andrew received comments and requests to do it again this time with .223 and shooting it at different barriers before hitting ballistics gelatin. Like the previous video about the .308 ammo, he reuses the same ballistics gelatin for a number of shots and that makes me wonder if the gel block is compromised by the previous shots.

X-Products 9mm Drum Mags

X-Products is making a 50 rd drum for colt magazine ARs. They are also going to make a 50 rd drum for 9mm ARs that use glock magazines. For a third product they are making a 32 rd drum magazine for Glock pistols. This seems overly complicated and unnecessary when Glock already as a 33 rd 9mm magazine. I do not see the benefit to a drum of similar capacity and surely increased cost. Right now this is a prototype. They need to increase the length so that it can fit full sized Glock grips.
