The Diamondback SDR – The New Lightest 6-Shot .357 Magnum Revolver
Luke C (@ballisticaviation) is at SHOT Show 2024 Industry Day at the Range with Diamondback Firearms to talk about their second-ever revolver, and their first-ever centerfire revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. The New SDR (Self Defense Revolver) is a modern J-frame design revolver featuring a polished stainless steel finish, two types of Hogue rubberized grips, fiber optic sights, and weighs in at only 21 ounces. According to the folks at Diamondback, this makes the SRD the newest and lightest six-shot .357 Magnum revolver on the market.
Diamondback Firearms New DBX57BGFB Pistol
Earlier this year at SHOT Show 2020 Diamondback Firearms presented their new DBX57BGFB AR-Pistol chambered in 5.7x28mm. The semi-auto pistol is a lightweight and compact 20 round FN Five-seveN magazine compatible platform set to take advantage of the 5.7x28mm cartridge.
Wheelgun Wednesday: Colt Diamondback .22
Welcome back to another edition of TFB’s Wheelgun Wednesday. In today’s article, we are looking at the Python’s lesser known and more diminutive cousin, the Colt Diamondback. Built on Colt’s D frame, the Diamondback was available in .22LR, .22WMR (rather rare), and .38 Special. Barrel lengths were 2 1/2″, 4″ and 6″, all with a vent rib and adjustable rear sights. The Diamondback was available in either blue or nickel finish. Manufacture began in 1966 and ceased in 1991.

Sneak Peek: The Vortex Diamondback Tactical 4-12x Scope Pre-Production Review

The DBT is going to be released in March 2017 with an MSRP of around $400 and a street price around $300. Diamondback Releases DB FS Nine
Diamondback, a company known for their small .380 pistol has released a full sized double stacked 9mm pistol. Looking loosely like a blend of the XD series pistols and Glock, the pistol striker is exposed when cocked for a tactile indicator as well as a Glock style slide release.
Diamondback DB15 PR
New from Diamondback is the DB15 PR pistol with a Cerakote Finish. The company does not seem to publish the MSRP so I cannot tell you the cost.
Diamondback DB15 Pistols
Diamondback is now making AR-15 pistols. The DB15 pistols are chambered in 5.56 NATO and come with 7.5″ barrels with a 1:9″ twist. The pistols use a gas-impingement system.
