A recently published news video from Arizona-based 3TV/Arizona Family Channel concerning domestic violence in the U.S. Army included a photograph of a U.S. Soldier from the 7th Special Forces Group based out of Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. The soldier is posing with what appears to be an M4A1 SOPMOD Block II and also appears to be on deployment in Afghanistan due to the terrain, green valley, and patchwork of compounds in the background.

Announced in January, MagPul’s new D60 drum magazine has the potential to be quite the hit. However, I feel there is some reserve to the magazine, as its just starting to be seen in the wild. Historically, drums have been quite bulky which offsets their utility, especially when constructed of metal.

Earlier this year we posted about Magpul’s new D-60 PMAG which was supposed to release this summer.  Well, better late than never…  They are finally shipping just in time for the holidays.
