SB Tactical has joined the rest of the industry at SHOT Show with their first booth. Ok it wasn’t really a booth, it was a kiosk in the NEXT area just outside the Press Room. These NEXT kiosks are for companies looking to get a booth at SHOT Show. There is a 5 year waiting period and this is one way to get your foot in the door.

Let the rise of the Pistol Stabilizing Brace continue. Hot off the presses is the new 2018 CZ lineup, including two pistol versions of the Scorpion EVO. The Scorpion Micro Pistol features an MP5A3 Style brace from SB Tactical and a short handguard from HB Industries. The new pistol looks to be a compact PDW at a street price I would estimate to be $850 to $900.

At long last, we have reached the last day in TFB’s 12 Days of Christmas – long guns. Originally, I had marked today as being dedicated to rifles. However, after compiling my list, I decided that I needed to open the category up to include firearms that are legally defined as pistols, but with a pistol stabilizing brace act more like rifles. ‘Tis the season for outdated laws and regulations!

What’s the old saying? ‘A handgun’s only use is to fight your way back to your rifle.’ Obviously an over simplification – today’s modern handguns are perfectly capable of handling the majority of common defensive situations. Still, having a proper long gun available is always a good idea.

Hognose over at WeaponsMan.com originally posted these dramatic images of the after effects of a CZ P07 explosion. His post was a brief analysis of a Reddit thread describing the poor CZ and the very lucky shooter. Visual evidence of the after effects of small arms destruction is always a solid reminder of the forces at work while shooting and fractions of an inch away from your fingers. .

Found this photo on imgur of a cerakoted Scorpion Evo3. It was made by Hammer Forge Gunworks, LLC. I like small details like the masked off portion of the grip and rails to keep them black. The safety, mag release, charging handle, trigger, and sling point are in red gives it a nice touch that keep the white from being monotonous.

No info on this video but it seems like it functions. On a facebook group, someone thinks that the person who made this work, converted a Glock beta mag. I have a Scorpion and a Glock 17. The mags are nothing alike. I could see it possible to convert a Colt 9mm beta mag.
