Czech Army Buys More CZ BREN 2s, CZ P-10s and CZ Scorpion PDWs

In 2015 CZUB announced that they were introducing an improved rifle called CZ BREN 2. About a year later, the  Czech Ministry of Defence signed a contract for 2,600 CZ BREN 2 rifles together with 800 CZ 805 G1 Grenade Launchers. Apparently, the Czech Army is happy with the BREN 2, as they just signed an agreement with the supplier Česká Zbrojovka (CZUB) for about 40,000 firearms. The contract is worth in the region of CZK2.35 billion (about USD111 million).
