Recently CZ has announced their new Scorpion PCC onto the market. The previous scorpion has been a favorite on the market since its release in 2014. With a fresh look and some control changes, the new Scorpion 3+ has people talking about the new variants of the popular Scorpion line. I managed to get my hands on one and after a few months of range time, I can confidently give the new Scorpion a fair shakedown. Let’s take a closer look at the new CZ Scorpion 3 Plus.

SB Tactical just released a new brace for the CZ Scorpion EVO. The SBTEVO-G2 brace more closely resembles the factory CZ Scorpion stock. Before this, you only had a modified MP5 folding brace or the collapsing PDW brace. But now you can have a brace that is more in line with the original aesthetics of the CZ Scorpion.

Drums have been carried into battle since ancient times. The bone-quaking booms of massive drums let the enemy know that fury was about to be unleashed. The fury has remained the same, but Magpul has replaced the thundering vibrations with the sharp cracks of 9mm bullets. The Magpul D-50 EV9 drum magazine stuffs 50 rounds of 9mm into your CZ Scorpion, and is now shipping.

The trigger – probably one of the most important features in the pursuit of shooting well with your firearm. Owners of the CZ Scorpion now have a new choice from Timney Triggers. I’m not going to say that the stock trigger is bad, but if I owned a CZ Scorpion, I’d look into an upgrade similar to this.

The CZ Scorpion Evo is one of the most popular pistol caliber carbines. It is affordable and is a lot of fun to shoot. It was brought into the US as a pistol but after a short while, CZ USA started offering it as a full carbine. While rifles are cool they are a bit long. What if we could make a CZ Scorpion bullpup pistol caliber carbine? Back in September 2018, Manticore Arms teased the firearm industry. They made a CZ Scorpion Bullpup. We requested to review one as soon as it was announced. Well, it finally arrived and it is a mix of frustration, piqued curiosity, and pure elation. Let’s go deep into the CZ Scorpion Bullpup.

As a fan of briefcase guns, this intrigues me. Thanks to my friend Erik C. who recently returned from his trip to Berlin for this photo. He shot it at the Berlin Spy Museum. There are some really interesting things going on with this briefcase design. First of all, I have never seen this briefcase gun before. Rusty and I both have briefcases for our MP5Ks. While   there have been a couple other homebrew briefcase guns but I have never seen a CZ Scorpion briefcase before.

At Range Day, Magpul had some CZ Scorpions with their latest upgrades. They also had their new D50 .308 drum magazine feeding some AR-10 style rifles. Unfortunately the Magpul MP5 was just a prototype so it was only on display on the show floor.

The CZ Scorpion Evo 3 has enraptured PCC shooters. Its low-cost fun has led to a whole host of upgrades and accessories. Early on, the only people making upgrades to the CZ Scorpion were smaller companies like Yeti Wurks, HB Industries, and Manticore Arms. A week before Black Friday, some members of the CZ Scorpion EVO 3 Enthusiast Facebook group discovered some items posted on Magpul’s website. Is appears a Magpul CZ Scorpion Grip and mag release will be available soon.

Just last Friday, Sven Jonsson of Manticore Arms posted up a teaser image of his latest project. Sven is a bullpup fanatic and in fact is hosting his own bullpup event this weekend. There he will officially unveil his CZ Bullpup Scorpion Chassis.

At IWA, I walked past EMTAN’s booth.See photo below. Nothing of much interest as their booth had AR-15 style rifles. That is until I spotted something on the wall that looked interesting. It is a 9mm AR that uses CZ Scorpion Evo mags.

This looks like a fun plinker. Yeh Te up in Canada shared this photo of his Vz 61 Scorpion. The lower is Zastava and the upper is by Czech Small Arms. The lower is railed so he could add a vertical grip. CSA makes a .22LR conversion kit as well as .22lr versions of the Scorpion.

The CZ Scorpion Evo 3 made a heck of a splash when it was introduced in 2010 and an even bigger splash when it hit the US market in 2015. In this episode of TFB TV, Patrick gets a chance to put some ammo through a factory machine gun and really get acquainted with the sub gun. Since this is a dealer sample, it gets all of the cool things like a 4 position selector switch, a folding stock, and we even have a tri-lug adaptor on the end of the machine gun so a Dead Air Wolf 9SD suppressor can be fitted for the ultimate in sub gun goodness.
