Photo Of The Day – Every day we present our readers with at least one photo. The subject is always a firearm of some kind, preferably with a muzzle flash or some action around it. But we’re happy with a perfectly edited still life photo as well. Today we have U.S. Marines and Sailors with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit Maritime Raid Force. They have just landed on the beach during an amphibious raid on Singkep Island, which is an island in the Lingga Archipelago in Indonesia. The joint exercise between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command is called Super Garuda Shield 22.

Today we have a look at the artificial Battlefield at eFP Battle Group in Latvia, where troops from the Czech Republic conduct a live fire exercise with 120 mm mortars.
