SIG SAUER Introduces New P210 Carry Custom Works Handgun

The re-emergence of SIG SAUER‘s P210 handgun has generated a fair amount of buzz over the course of the last few years. The original Swiss-made pistols were much beloved for decades, and many of those models are still in service today, primarily in Europe, nearly two decades after the original line’s cessation of production. The P210’s resurrection in its current US-made form, with the modern Carry and Target models has generally also been well-received. Now a new variant has been added to the series, with SIG’s announcement of their new P210 Carry Custom Works. Get the details on this fresh pistol model in the official announcement and product description paragraphs copied below.

New Spectre Series Pistols from SIG SAUER Custom Works

By now, SIG SAUER‘s handguns need little introduction. In addition to their stable of highly-regarded prior models, their newest additions with the P320 and P365 models have achieved significant success as well. TFB has previously covered and reviewed numerous iterations of both designs, largely with overwhelmingly positive overtones. SIG Sauer Introduces SIG Custom Works Equinox Series

SIG Sauer‘s momentum has been growing in recent years. The US military has adopted their M17 and M18 handguns, based on the P320 series, to replace the aging Beretta M9. SIG has achieved tremendous success in the concealed carry market with their P365 and P365XL line. Recently, they announced a new partnership with a host of the industry’s top custom shops to offer a plethora of “Gucci gun” version of the P320. Their long gun game is not to be forgotten, either, as the CROSS bolt-action has arrived to impress and other product lines also look to be doing well. Now SIG is growing their Custom Shop offerings even further, as they have announced limited-edition versions of their classic P226 and P229 handgun designs as a new “Equinox” series. Hot on the heels of the release of their Custom Shop P320 AXG Scorpion and the blacked-out Nightmare series, the October 27th press release detailing the new series’ introduction reads as follows.

Sneak Preview: The NEW SIG P320 FCU Custom Works Program

In this episode of TFBTV, James Reeves is at the SIG Sauer Academy speaking with Phil Strader of SIG about the new SIG P320 Fire Control Unit or “FCU” program. While more details about this new program are on the way as the tentative October launch date gets closer, what we can tell you now is that the P320 FCU Custom Works program is a collaboration between SIG and third-party/aftermarket parts makers to offer a new degree of customization for the SIG P320 line of pistols. Consumers will be able to purchase the SIG P320 fire control unit by itself for $299. As the fire control unit of the SIG P320 is the serialized component of the gun, buyers will then be able to hand-select and order the components to complete their build – including the frame, slide, barrel, and other components – not only from SIG but from supported third-party manufacturers. After those parts arrive, the owner simply assembles their custom-designed SIG P320. More details about this program are coming soon from SIG and from TFBTV, so make sure to subscribe for new updates.
