POTD: Concamo – Shooting with Secondary Sights
Secondary sights – everybody talks about them. TFB’s comments section is full of comments telling how important they are. But how often do we even zero them? Is your secondary sight zeroed, or do you just wait for the main optic to break (probably when you need it the most) before you do that?
POTD: Heckler & Koch MG5 and Concamo
Concamo have released a set of pictures that are just too cool not to share. That is the topic of our Photo Of The Day. Rumor has it that these pictures are taken on Heckler & Koch‘s private shooting and training area. This is the same place where we spotted the Heckler & Koch 417P, a special version being field tested by the Austrian Army.
Announced: Tender for the Next G26 German Sniper Riflescope
Recently TFB reported about the G26 7.62×51 mm “Short Range Sniper Rifle” that the German Army is looking for.
German Army is looking for a 7.62×51 Short Range Sniper Rifle
As the German Army is taking the next step towards a new assault rifle, they are also looking for a semi-automatic precision rifle in 7.62x51mm. The Federal Office responsible for the Bundeswehr equipment procurement ( BAAINBw) has published a tender titled: “Scharfschützenwaffe kurze Reichweite (SSchtzWa kRw) G26”
POTD: Concamo – Heckler & Koch HK416A7 and HK433 (Version 5) with ELCAN and EOTech
As usual with images from Concamo you have to count more than once to find all the people in the picture, and even then you can’t be sure. These Photos Of The Day are no exception, but I think most of our readers will be busy looking at the firearms from Heckler & Koch and not the Concamoed uniforms from UF Pro.
U.S. Marine with Camouflaged H&K MP7
Norway has a special relationship with the Heckler & Koch MP7 (from Maschinenpistole 7), as they are most likely the country that has bought most of them. If we trust Wikipedia as a source, the numbers are around 6,500 as it replaced (some of) the HK MP5s. Even some soldiers in the Norwegian Home Guard have it.
POTD: Concamo and Heckler & Koch HK433 & HK416
As this is The Firearm Blog it’s easy to focus on the firearms, the Heckler & Koch HK433 and the G95K (Heckler & Koch 416 A7) in this case.
POTD: Heckler & Koch SFP9 Optics Ready with Rheinmetall laser
Today’s Picture Of The Day shows a Heckler & Koch SFP9 (VP9), ready with optics. I think the red dot sight is a Leupold Deltapoint Pro.
