I’ve heard it said that any gun is only as good as its magazine. As someone with a family to feed, I’ve dipped my toe into the world of cheap gear. Some of those purchases have been magazines of questionable merit, and I must say that I agree with the earlier statement. It’s no wonder the demand for mags, big and small, is constantly increasing. Primary Weapons Systems is well known in the firearms industry as a quality rifle component company and has grown rapidly since its formation in 2008. One of the largest firearms manufacturers in the Northwest United States, PWS quickly grew from making accessories like compensators and other muzzle accessories to manufacturing venerated products like their PWS Long-Stroke Piston System. As of March 21, 2022, Primary Weapons Systems has been acquired by the Georgia-based company Vigilant Gear Holdings and joins a family of companies that now include Lone Wolf Distributors and Lone Wolf Arms.

You all know them and love them – Henry Repeating Arms. The company has enjoyed a lot of recent success over the years with the leadership of now-former company president Anthony Imperato. Now, Mr. Imperato is handing off the reigns of the Henry Repeating Arms brand to the new company president Andy Wickstrom. Andy has had a long history with the company dating as far back as 1998 and has now risen to officially be the company’s president after several years of being the de facto president.

Aero Precision has made plans to move to a brand new facility located in Lakewood, Washington. According to their recent announcement the new facility and move are to accommodate the increased amount of business the company has received over recent years. The company was originally founded in 1994, near Gig Harbor, Washington as a manufacturer of mostly aerospace industry parts but has since transitioned to the firearms which most of us are familiar with today.

While the ATF takes its time to release its guidance on what exactly is a “suppressor” so that companies would be free to make multi-piece multi-caliber kits, companies are still hard at work to get you the most for your dollar. With the expense and time around acquiring suppressors, it just makes sense for the end-user to be able to get one can to cover most of their needs.

Via a press release published earlier this month, German gunmaker Hecker & Koch announced it had reduced its financial debt to a mere €170 million (~$194 million US), thanks to an equity increase of €50 million via a capital shares increase. With this, the company will issue approximately 6.6 million new shares, backed up by a capital injection of €50 million, and assistance in refinancing its 9.5% Senior Secured Notes at significantly lower debt. According to the release:

It would have to be a decision that not only in retrospect but at the time was one of the worst possible decisions a company could make, and it would have to have longstanding aftereffects that would change firearms history forever.
