Comp-Tac Adds Holster Support for M&P9 Shield EZ
Houston, Texas-based Comp-Tac Victory Gear had already been producing a variety of holster types, as well as other gun-related gear, for many years before they were purchased by HSGI in 2017. Since this merger, they have continued to expand their product lines and offer continually growing holster support for new handguns as the market’s demand directs. With Smith & Wesson’s pistol product lines experiencing ongoing growth, the need for new S&W-compatible holsters never seems to cease. After last year’s release of the M&P9 Shield EZ, as well as its upgraded Performance Center version, yet another new holster need was born. Comp-Tac got to work on it, and now with the following August 2020 press release, they have announced that five of their holster models will now include fit options for the M&P9 Shield EZ.

High Speed Gear Acquired Comp-Tac?
Somehow we totally missed this little bit of news… I have been not only running TACOs on my duty gear for a couple of years (and my competition belt for longer than that), but I have had previous experience with Comp-Tac Holsters (specifically the Minotaur MTAC). HSGI picked up Comp-Tac in part to add holsters to their otherwise versatile line.
Comp-Tac Announced Holsters for New Laser Equipped S&W Shield Pistols
When the new Smith & Wesson M&P Shield pistol rolled out earlier this year, one of the new factory options was an integrated Crimson Trace laser. While still new to the market, there are a lot of people buying these guns and relating positive stories about them. How well the Crimson Trace equipped guns sell as compared to the plain guns remains to be seen.
NEW: Comp-Tac Holsters Expanding Flatline Lineup
In the market for a new holster? Comp-Tac Victory Gear is now offering more options for their Flatline and Flatline Thumb Break holster lines. After all, thanks to colder weather gun owners are granted the ability to carry OWB since they’re also wearing thicker layers.
Review: Comp-Tac International Holster
When I was searching for a holster to fit my Arsenal Firearms Strike One in I was left with one option, the Texas-based holster company Comp-Tac. Since the holster was going to be used to shoot in competitions, I decided that the Comp-Tac International was probably the right holster for my needs. After placing the order, the holster showed up in my mailbox about a week and a half after clicking the submit button.

Comp-Tac Holsters has expanded their line to include holsters made specifically for the newest Smith and Wesson handgun.
[SHOT 2016] Comp-Tac's Q Line of Multi-fit Holsters
With as many pistols as we review here at The Firearm Blog finding a holster in the big box o’ discarded holsters can be a bit of a pain in the tush. I have resulted to a Safariland Pro-Fit paddle holster as my catch all T&E holster because it fits just about everything. Few other holster makers offered something similar leaving me forced into a holster. Comp-Tac saw this void in the market and decided to do something about it. With their new Q line of holsters 4 sizes will fit just about any current production handgun out.
New Comp-Tac Holsters for Micro Tac
Comp-Tac is now selling two of their holsters for pistols equipped with the TruGlo Micro Tac laser and TruGlo Tru Point laser/light combination unit. The two holster models are the International and the Infidel Max. The International carries a suggested retail price of $84.99 while the Infidel Max has an MSRP of $79.99.
