Pistols of "The Boondock Saints" Movie

While being almost 25 years old, The Boondock Saints, a violent tale of two brothers cleansing their hometown streets of Boston is certainly a cult classic as it spawned too many sequels that did not live up to the quality of the first entry. With production spanning nearly half a century and ending in 1999, the original Python is a highly sought after piece by collectors. This new revolver boasts modern alloys, a stronger frame and redesigned sights. Still, the new model Python has big shoes to fill – revolver lovers rave over the original’s perfect trigger and awesome accuracy. Guns, Drugs And A Monkey, What Could Go Wrong?

Gardaí (Police) in Finglas, Ireland, a suburb of Dublin, discovered a small group of people in possession of narcotics, guns, and a pet monkey.  If the monkey was trained as a look-out, he failed.  Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ) reported on the evidence from the operation that involved 50 officers in an effort to target organized crime in the area. Revolver Showdown

Jerry Miculek compares a S&W L-Frame against a Colt Python and a Ruger Speed Six. He admits it to us that he is a little biased since he has been shooting for S&W for the past 25 years. After the test firing he does a table top talk and breaks down the features of each one. The table top discussion does seem a bit biased and heavy towards the S&W line of revolvers but that is to be expected.
