Canik USA has produced several Signature Series pistols in the last few years, with only several thousand made per series. This year, Canik released a brand new Signature Series pistol based on the METE SF model that they’ve dubbed “Apocalypse.” Canik’s new Signature METE SF Apocalypse features a warning chevron color scheme and includes accessories such as a holster, Zippo lighter, a fixed blade knife and several other niceties. Canik USA recently unveiled their new micro-compact pistol, the Canik METE MC9, which makes it the smallest gun in the Canik lineup. The new Canik METE MC9 is slightly smaller compared to the sub-compact, the TP9 Elite SC, with the MC9’s 3.18-inch barrel, 1.12-inch width, and a reduced overall profile. The MC9 comes with both a 12-round and 15-round magazine, which are compatible with the SC mags. The Canik METE MC9 also features an ambidextrous slide stop, and is optics-ready with a Shield footprint.

Canik USA recently unveiled a new line within the METE series of pistols, the Canik METE Pro, which has a few additional features over the standard line. The new Canik METE Pro series will feature aggressive slide serrations, a fluted and threaded stainless steel barrel, a front night sight, and a 90-degree trigger profile. The SFx METE Pro is distinguishable by its longer slide and barrel, which measures 5.74 inches, while the SFT METE Pro has a slightly shorter slide with a 5-inch barrel, and both METE Pro’s slides have a noticeable, styled notch just aft of the muzzle. Canik USA recently ran several different collector’s variants of their TP9 SFx pistols, which proved quite popular with loyal fans, and eventually garnered some steep private sale prices. Due to the limited run of those pistols, Canik USA decided to appeal to those that missed out by releasing several more runs of the TP9 SFx pistols under their new Canik Signature Series. There are two upgrades that set the Signature Series apart from a stock Canik, as well as the standard Sfx line; the most noticeable of which is a sharp two-tone, contrasting finish, while the second upgrade is an added flared magazine well base for assisting in quicker reloads. The third benefit that the Signature Series gains from the SFx line is that it’s optics ready and ships with a nearly seamless rear sight plate installed.
