SIG SAUER Releases New MCX-Regulator "Ranch Rifle"

SIG SAUER has expanded its popular MCX lineup to include more than a dozen variants of both the SPEAR and Rattler models. They can be had in a variety of configurations, finishes, and calibers, all equipped with standard pistol grips – until now. SIG recently announced their newest MCX model, dubbed the Regulator, which incorporates a Magpul Mossberg 500/590 style stock in place of the pistol grip we’ve come to expect. They’re marketing this variant as a ranch rifle, which is a role it could certainly fill, but arguably the greatest benefit offered by the MCX-Regulator is its potential for compatibility with ban state compliance. If your state frowns upon features such as pistol grips or threaded barrels, this rifle may be able to provide you with a legal AR alternative either straight out of the box or with a relatively simple modification like a pin-and-weld job, depending upon your particular residence. Check out the press release below for further details on this newest MCX.

One of the most popular micro-compact pistols in the nation has just become a bit more accessible to even more Americans with the launch of the new CA Compliant SIG Sauer P365. [SHOT 2018] Patriot Pin

The Patriot Pin is a clever method to make California AR-15s compliant. You simply replace your receiver endcap with theirs and the rear takedown pin. Unlike other similar designs, Patriot Pin uses delrin for their takedown pins. Delrin is a self lubricating material so it makes it easy to open and close into the receivers. This helps maintain the life of your AR.

Franklin Armory Introduces The New DFM Magazine For California

In before the jokes about “Comiefornia” and whatever else clever jokes you have about the overly regulated state. I feel for our shooting brethren that have to deal with the laws that were recently put in place. As much as I want to scream and yell about the insanity of the whole thing we don’t do politics here.

The video is about a new lower called the SCR (Sporting Configurable Rifle) that is currently a prototype from Ares Defense. It looks to be a traditional style monte carlo stock, which would make it legal in states like California and New York.
