Is Germany's Rifle Nightmare Finally Over?
The Bundeswehr launched their program to select a new service rifle to replace the G36 in the spring of 2017, since then there has been a hard-fought selection process followed by court proceedings but it appears there may finally be an outcome. Haenel CR6.5 – New Semi-Automatic Long Range Rifle
TFB has written a lot about the German manufacturer C.G. Haenel lately, but the dust seems to have settled a little. First, they won the tender for Germany’s next army weapon, then they didn’t. It’s all quite confusing even for those who are trying to keep up on a daily basis, but in this article, we’re going to forget all about that and focus on one of their new products. After all, the company is probably most known as a supplier of the G29 sniper rifle for the German Army. It’s called the Haenel RS9 and chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum.

German GunWorks' exceptional G29 VIPER Project – Haenel RS9 in .338 LM
I really want to Ceracote some of my rifles, but I lack the courage to commit and I keep changing my mind in terms of which rifle to start with and which pattern to paint it in. Too many choices, too difficult to back off the wrong choice and of course, the cost of the project itself has refrained me from ordering.
